First of all, yes this is not a Whiteside or Freud milling cutter but those two companies don't make the desired profile. It was very close to what I needed to reproduce an antique accent table. I bought two in case I needed a spare due to the possibility of using inferior carbide. Well I have to say that I am still using the first bit even after many hours of use. Haven't had to touch up the edge yet. Poplar cut quality is good and I think it will make a big difference with hardwood too. Workshop Smithy
