Review on Large French Press Coffee Maker Kitchen & Dining for Coffee, Tea & Espresso by Tyra Simpson

I bought this coffee maker to replace our drip coffee maker and I read most of the reviews before deciding to buy this large stainless steel press but I'm disappointed due to a few things, that I have found that are very disturbing. First, the inner nose has some discoloration, it looks like impurities in the metal, or maybe the nose wasn't polished very well during the polishing process, anyway I didn't want to use this press, not knowing I've never seen stainless steel look like that off if it is to be used as food. Next thing I noticed was that the lid was too loose, it might also stray far from the inside edge of the spout when in the closed position, I'm worried about the coffee not sealing and accidentally spilling which can cause injury (shown into the video). There is also a deep scratch on the bottom next to the printed logo, indicating mishandling or a previous purchase. Unfortunately I have returned the product and will choose another from a different company.
