Large French Press Coffee Maker Kitchen & Dining for Coffee, Tea & Espresso Review

My brother always complains at the weekend when there isn't enough coffee so I wanted a bigger pot. It fits the bill but feels flimsy compared to my previous 1 liter purchase which is a really good set. It doesn't look like it's going to be very long...we'll see.

The best French press I have ever had. My glass happened to leak despite not being abused, so I decided to use steel for this one. This actually has the best filter I have ever used and is very easy to clean. Good if you want to make 3-5 cups at a time! Also, it stays hot much longer than the glass models I've used.

This replaced a glass press that was chipping and another metal press that kept clogging. Will not chip, but after daily washing in the dishwasher, the coating will wash off. Otherwise I have no complaints. I like that it fully adheres. The area is fairly dry which means more drink comes out and is easier to clean.

Bought a large (50 ounce) silver French Press. After breaking another glass french press I was looking for an alternative and I'm glad I found it! It is stainless steel and solid. Stainless steel looks cleaner and more modern thanks to glass. I am very satisfied with the durability of this product. I use it with 1/2 cup of coffee grounds and get over 6 cups of coffee when I fill it up.

Woman broke her fancy glass French Press and was looking for a 'high quality' replacement. Not wanting to leave her running around unsupervised and spending tons of money on trendy stuff, I decided to quickly find a reliable replacement that was trendy enough to keep her happy. The double sieve is so small that it only pushes the coffee grounds far enough under until it builds up enough pressure for the boiling hot coffee to explode everywhere. I removed one of the filters and the problem remained. I lower the bar very carefully and slowly. Doesn't exist when brewing tea. I bought this coffee maker to replace our drip coffee maker and I read most of the reviews before deciding to buy this large stainless steel press but I'm disappointed due to a few things, that I have found that are very disturbing.
