When ordering, I didn't notice or realize that inch units only use two decimal places. Frustrated, I gave it to the store. Since then I've been using this thing a lot and it works really well in dusty environments. The auto-off feature is handy, and as soon as you move it, it turns on and remembers where zero is (although I do check it every time to be sure). It's very light but seems quite strong and stiff. For general wood and plastic work, two decimal places are sufficient. So in the end I like it better than I thought.
