Sooo pretty! The rhinestones are very small and adhere with a strip of something similar to a double-sided tape. Other comments were disappointed that the rhinestones would come off so the first thing I did was firmly press all the stones down. I also have the collar loose fitted so if my dog rubs against it, the collar moves. Also, my dog doesn’t usually scratch. If they scratch it, of course the stones will come off. It also says the collar material is velvet but it’s not. it’s more like a thick foam, like for crafts. But it’s definitely sturdy, thick and secure, I don’t fear that it will rip- it’s just not velvet. I actually really like the material because of how soft it is. My dogs is a very strong medium size dog so the collar is just for looks- I still use her standard nylon-webbed collar on walks.
