This says it's 15.8" wide, but once you take it off the backing it's only 15.5". Had it been 15.8" the dimensions would have worked well for my project, but missing a quarter inch on each strip meant I was short. The cutting lines are useless unless you only need to cut in 4" increments or get very lucky in having the intermittent more closely spaced lines end up where you need them (I didn't for any of several cuts). The factory cuts are not straight or even so you lose time and material squaring it up (especially since you need to draw your own lines to do so). It's thick, but adhesion seems similar to dollar store shelf liner paper - no stickier than that -which means it will be more suitable for some projects and surfaces than others. The finish feels more papery than other products I've used so time will tell how it holds up to use. I would not use this product again.ETA: a few days after applying it, it's getting ridge-like bubbles. Similar bubbles formed during installation, but were easily smoothed out. Seems like the material wants to go back to its rolled-up shape. This puts it solidly in the one star category for me.ETA: a couple months after applying it, it has ripped in an area where other objects occasionally contact it. It has been handled carefully, but is brittle and fragile. I'll have to take it all off and find a new solution. This is a zero star product.
