I like its thickness and weight.

I love this measuring monster! It's heavy enough to hold the fabric while I measure and cut. It's thick enough to create a nice straight line when you draw. The only point of criticism, and I criticize this with all measuring devices without exception, is that they are not easy to read. She never. Someone has to come up with one that's 5 times the number for us visually impaired (they're old!).
