Powerful pump and battery, but if accuracy is important, then this isn't your pump

Can you inflate a tire with this? Absolutely. Can you set and forget? No way. The positive side of this pump is that it is powerful and the battery lasts a long time. The display is easy to read. It feels solid and like a quality product in your hands. Now for the rest. Maybe I got a bad device, but I have no such impression. The pump can use several different air pressure units. I use PSI. The pressure gauge in my pump is at least 2 psi off. When it says 37 psi it is actually 35. Knowing that I can work around it. never mind There are 2-3 design flaws I should point out. First, the pump has no legs and no flat surface to place it on. The closest thing to a flat surface is the display side, and you certainly don't want to sit on it and scratch it. Second, the hose is too short. If the valve stem is not at ground level the pump will not be able to rest on the ground and if it hangs it will stress the hose or clamp and eventually fail. One of the reviews says connect, configure and exit. I'm calling BS about this. Either the pump is hanging from a tire or it's dancing on the floor, and either way you don't have a long running pump. You have to crouch and hold it, at least for cars/trucks. Third, the hose flexes too much under pressure, resetting the pump's automatic shut-off. For example if you install a 40 psi pump. inches, and the current reading is 36.7 psi. But your PSI is still 36.7. 34.7 for my pump. So all in all, not a bad pump once you learn to manage your quirks. If my goal is 37 psi then I know I've achieved 37 psi.
