First of all, I'm a hair professional and I'm always looking for a faster way to style my hair with minimal damage. This dryer is MUCH better than a Revlon stage. I tried the Revlon 1 Step (almost identical but weighs more than the Tigi Step and probably longer). The Revlon was too heavy, too loud, too bulky. I haven't even tried more than one section. I knew I wanted it back. It looked more streamlined out of the box. This Tigi is lighter, seems quieter (apart from my cool setting) and immediately feels less manageable. Haven't had time to use it on my medium length hair yet. This is very thin and not very thick. It's really very cool! Until it stops working at a ridiculous point in time, it will be worth the money! By the way, I jumped at it when it was on sale on Revain for $29.99! Now it costs $40 and is still worth the money. But for me personally, with all the gear I have, I haven't spent a lot of money on it. Just in case there was still ONE thing I needed to keep, I haven't used it much! I just received it and I only used it once, last night. However, I loved how it worked, how long it took and how shiny my hair looks!
