I've been using wax seals with stationery for four decades, but the concept of the oven and melting spoon was new to me. I've heard horror stories about wood actually catching fire (!) so I liked that it's basically a metal structure with wooden handles. There is definitely a lesson to be learned here (I COMPLETELY underestimated how much wax to use the first time!), but the pleasure of having a perfectly rounded fill before the sealant sets in is worth the effort.
- EASY TO CLEAN: No cleaning required when using one color wax, for another color simply wipe off the remaining wax in the spoon and pot with paper when the wax is heated to a liquid state. Please be careful with the heat.
