After some research I decided to use 1/4 inch drawstring as a replacement for some jogging pants. For a very heavy pair with bags, everything was perfect. Fits great and works as expected/hoped for. The tip of the other 3 is too thick. So thick that I can use it to hold up my pants without tying them. I will leave a review there but I have to say that the Easy Threader is amazing. Absolutely love it and it's cheaper if you buy direct. The ends crumble a little - the problem will be solved with transparent nail polish. In principle, this tip is very good, but 1/8 inch is sufficient for most applications. For those wondering, this cord has very little stretch. (That's exactly what you want to keep your sweatpants for). I used up less than half of my 4 sweatpants so 12 yards is enough.
