Review on 🔌 5-Port Edgerouter Router with Power over Ethernet (PoE) by Larry Allen

I've had this router for over two years now and am impressed. I'm good with computers, but I'm by no means a networking expert. This router seems to have everything I could possibly want: 100% reliable, clean and feature rich user interface, PoE, QoS, WAN failover, it has everything I need. After purchasing it, I received two of my access points and was equally impressed. I've never had such a stable network at home, now it rivals the office! The only thing that really bothers me is that the QoS speed is limited to 120 Mbit/s. In most urban areas, we're starting to see faster speeds than this. In my case I disabled QoS for downstream but left it enabled for upstream and it works fine for my asymmetric speeds. It would be nice to have two things: 1) I would love the network level authentication feature. 2) It would be nice if it came with a rackmount adapter, it's great for home/small office with racks.
