Very durable, no worries about damage or sorting. Our cats loved it from day one. One of the cats uses every day which is worth my expense. Our cats are quite large, one 12lbs and the other 15lbs, and each seem to find the cage very comfortable. However, the cage is huge. Big and heavy, especially with a cat. But I don't regret taking it. I saw that the cage is very popular in Korea, the vets recommend this particular article on youtube. I'm glad I got it. Definitely recommend to other people.
