Revain would not accept my first review of this product. I believe it may have been my repeated use of the word "garbage" to get the required word count. Here's the thing: This jack is really dangerous. When lifting the smart, which is half the weight of a "normal" car, on the slippery garage floor, both hinge points buckled and became sharp because the red hinge pin severed the black arms as it moved. The handle is made of cast iron. After the first use, nicks remained on the hook. I only use this jack to get the car off the hanger just far enough to get the jack underneath. I would never trust this thing to carry the weight of a car. Don't buy this. Vet Jack is sold under several names here and is painted a variety of colors. Get the original jack from the junkyard. It costs less and the Buick doesn't fall on your head.
