Functional but many problems/dangers for fish

Here is my mediocre experience with the Petzilla Breeder Box after 4 months. - The suction cups often detach from the glass (other manufacturers have never had this). This results in the juveniles running away to the main tank and the adult fish coming into the box and feasting on the juveniles. And no, I didn't have a lid. Maybe it would have prevented it, maybe not. The lid sticks. Great pain when feeding. It's difficult to remove the cap without sticking your fingers in the tank and unscrewing it. Holes that make it difficult to push food through. You can do it, you need a good aim. Used without case. - 3 "closed" angle tubes allow the roast to rest on it. It's good if the water level doesn't get too low. Sometimes my fry got stuck in the pipes, turned into a fish that was pulled out of the water, and didn't survive. An open corner pipe was used for ventilation. I chose not to connect the air supply to allow the fish to swim into the tube. It's ok if the water level is above the lip, but if it drops the juvenile fish will get stuck in the pipe and may suffocate like I did. In addition, food and dirt accumulate in this tube. The tabs connecting the top and bottom halves are VERY difficult to open. In fact, it takes the tip of a knife to separate the tongue, and it takes a lot of agitation to separate the top and bottom halves. Ironically, one of the tabs had recently broken from thumb pressure, not the knife. If you "tilt" the fry into another container to empty the tank or box, the fry will get stuck between the top and bottom halves of the upper and lower lips AND in the tubes. ! PANIC mode sets it. Then you try to pull the tongues apart to separate them and you can't. You end up with a fish out of the water, the fish gets stuck causing stress for the fish AND you. - A tray separating mother and cub. Stay in place. Once you do that, it works fine. Fry falls and mom separated. However, once the nut is removed and you want to remove the tray.CH! You have to separate the top and bottom halves to remove them and that's the problem. All in all, this is just an honest product.
