Review on ๐Ÿ”ด TamBee 8 Quart Pressure Cooker Silicone Sealing Ring Set - Universal Replacement Floater and Sealer - Set of 9 - High-Quality Rubber Gaskets for Power Pressure Cookers by Katrina Taylor

Check the size of your pressure cooker!

First. There are so many lists of pressure seals that it's confusing. I ordered an 8 liter set of TamBee silicone pressure cooker O-rings and rubber gaskets, a universal replacement float and pressure cooker sealant, a set of 9. I ordered it for our PPC780 XL pressure cooker. PPC780 is an eight liter model. This is super important! I think a lot of the non-working o-ring reviews found on AMAZON are related to size and possibly model. Or the sellers don't know what they're doing. I suppose you could still go. But for a gasket set. The fit was excellent. I placed the new ring on top of the old one and examined them carefully. Almost equal. Same height, thickness, grooves and recesses. The new ring was a cat's mustache smaller than the original, as it should be. These things expand over time, so they can't take pressure. For full disclosure, I didn't have a cat whisker to measure, I used a Chihuahua whisker. He can forgive me. The kit included a set of small spacers, only two of which fit my model, but better safe than sorry. For the test, I hard-boiled a dozen eggs in a pressure cooker, as the internet told me, and they came out right! Unlike the dozen I've cooked in the past with an old gasket that made it clear my stove was no longer building the proper pressure. So finally, check your model number and quart size (not all listings include both!) and see when it arrives. If you do, you'll probably get a good replacement. Thanks very much!
