I have been wearing Altra (Provision) shoes for the last few years because I have oddly long toes 3 to 5 which makes almost every shoe fit me wrong. Anyway, I had high hopes for these shoes. They look cool in the pictures and most of the reviews here on Revain looked good. The first issue I encountered was the stiffness of the leather. This was quickly remedied with a few mink oil treatments. Now I have problems with the upper heel of the shoe. There is no padding at all like in running shoes. When I wear them, they rub the area quite badly. I can tell if I wear them for a long time I get a strong blister. Too bad. I like the style very much. I hope it gets better when I finally break them.
