Awesome Looks but a mysterious 2nd harness

I installed these in my truck and it is an amazing difference in looks and build quality between these projectors and the prior set of aftermarket lights I had. I definitely like the switchback and the DRL feature of these lights. I asked this as a question but could not complete the question due to amazon limiting the size of the question. I installed these lights and in the box was another wire harness besides the DRL harness. I already have the DRL's up and running. It appears the 2nd harness may be for if my truck would have had factory HID. It hooks up to the battery like the DRL harness but it does not have the single wire running to the lights. Instead, the wires would run from the battery positive and negative and into a control module of some kind. Then, exit the module with a positive and negative to each light with a plug at the end and into a plug on the headlights. Can anyone tell me if they got this 2nd harness and if it is indeed for keeping your low beams on all the time like in an HID hi/lo to keep the low beam HID's on. And if that is the case, can I use it with LED bulbs to keep the low beams running while the high beams are on? I called Alpha Rex and have not received an answer to this yet.
