I received mine today and it was a BIG mistake that I decided to put some of these curlers in my granddaughter's hair. Have you ever tried to remove a sand spur from a beach towel?! Yes, that's right. She squeaked; I cursed silently. These curlers are the worst. I mean they are good if you want permanent decoration in your hair. Choose your color carefully. My granddaughter's hair is fine and long and it has been matted so to be absolutely safe I added a few to my 2 inch curly hair. Just so you know the results of my experiment, hair type doesn't matter. If you want to curl your hair, don't. You will rip out every curl as you separate the curlers from the hair. becomes significantly less important. So don't say "Nobody warned you". That's ridiculous.
