They fit true to size and are comfortable. These would be perfect for wearing in a pool. HOWEVER, IF YOU’RE GOING TO THE BEACH OR SOMEWHERE ELSE WITH SAND, I DO NOT SUGGEST THESE.These shorts have two layers of fabric. The inside layer is thin and has tiny holes (similar to the kind when pantyhose are stretched out). These tiny holes are just big enough that wet sand gets trapped between the two fabric layers. While I was at the beach feeling cute, I realized the sand had gathered at the bottom of the shorts and made me look like I had balls. I don’t ever want to look like I have balls, so this made me particularly uncomfortable. You have to wait for the sand to dry to squish/force it out of the inside fabric layer.If you’re not going to be sitting in sand at any point while wearing these, then I suggest these.
