I gave four stars because it seems too expensive for such a small book. That's my fault as I obviously didn't pay attention to the measurements. I thought I'd buy a much larger sketchbook. This is good quality paper. That means I could probably use non-translucent permanent markers, but that's not something I'd like to paint with for my 7-year-old to do. It makes no sense for me to go back.
