My last bike light ran on bulky C batteries and barely illuminated the road. I got tired of changing batteries and eventually stopped riding my bike at night altogether. This summer I decided to get back in and wanted to enjoy cycling in the evening when the weather gets colder. I am amazed at how functional and comfortable this lamp is. It features three main intensity levels, additional SOS/strobe visuals, and a blurry ring with its own lighting styles that can be combined with the main light or used alone. A clear LED indicates battery life, while standard USB-C makes charging easy and affordable. I didn't know when I ordered it, but the flashlight can also be used as a phone battery if needed to share the battery! Installation took seconds and is easy to customize. I liked that you can turn left and right while driving, which allowed me to look at the landscape in the evening and not just straight ahead. It also comes with a very bright rear red LED that works just as well (and uses standard watch batteries, which are easy to replace). The brightness is wonderful. I was able to ride in pitch blackness on a wooded bike path with ease and even spotted some wildlife as I rode down the road. I can't imagine a better light for such a low price.
