Review on KatKabin DezRez Standard Chocolate Brown by Garrick Prince

I bought KatKabin about a month and a half ago and it has been used for about a month. I live in Michigan so we haven't had any extreme weather and the house was sheltered on my porch the whole time. A few days ago I noticed that the plastic on the outside is cracked and there is no good reason for that. I already use a winter heating pad as we've had some chilly nights and I can see the heating pad through the gap. I'm glad I'm warmer, otherwise nothing would stand in the way of the cold air. I contacted the company and they sent me a new faceplate. I've read that this has happened to other people too so it's quite disappointing considering how much it costs. The cat seems to really like it and other than the crack it's fine. I think the company needs to come up with a better plastic cover for it as it shouldn't tear like that.
