I bought this mug because I can't use metal mugs at my job. It doesn't keep coffee warm for long, which I knew when I bought it, but it should have worked. First it was a good cup. I liked it. It was easy to clean, didn't leak and looked good. But just 5 months later everything changed dramatically. When the cap first unscrewed while driving to work, I figured I just didn't tighten it. The next day I made sure it was tight but it literally exploded on me as I got into my truck. The lid came off completely and I filled myself and my truck with very hot coffee. I just poured it in and walked out of the house with it 5 minutes later so it was very hot. I don't have a dishwasher, I only wash by hand. So I don't know what happened to the mug or if I received a broken mug, but just be very careful! Hot coffee on your knees hurts! Didn't see where to contact the seller and he says my returns window is closed so I think I'm stuck there but at least I can warn others! Much luck!
