Demonstrates workmanship. Other locks just can't keep up, no matter how brand loyal you are, this lock will make you believe for life! When you insert the shackle into the lock, it really looks safe, strong and secure. almost like closing a door in a high-end German-made sedan. The strut's 12" internal height along with the 4.25 internal width makes it great for my fat tire e-bike. I can put them on the rear wheel and seat tube and attach to the post or rear tire with the other and lower the frame onto the post. The weight is certainly not an issue for me, but I find it very easy and handy to use. I leave it attached to my rack and tube for transport as I feel the mount that comes with my attachment and riding habits may not hold up. I don't want it falling 30+ mph. Don't think, just do it, 2 of them make up the recommended 10% of the bike for me.
