Review on ๐Ÿ”ฎ Optimized for SEO: Velocifire NK01 Wireless Mechanical Number Pad with Blue Switches - Ideal External Numeric Keypad for TKL Keyboards by William Turner

Probably the best deal on TKL keyboards. Also compare with brown DREVO keyless mechanical keyboard

So I was looking for a cheap backlit mechanical keyless keyboard. I came across this and DREVO Tyrfing 87-Key White Backlit Wired Mechanical Keyboard Brown Switch Black I bought both and here is my close comparison of the two VELOCIFIRE Pros: - VERY quiet keys, deeper sound, less clicking noise. It almost sounds like a membrane, but it has a mechanical effect. - Similar font but better (may be personal preference). Clearer engravings on inscriptions. Insert, Home, Del, End, Pg Up and Down look MUCH better - Smoother LED backlight - Keycaps feel a little smoother - $10 cheaper. Neutral: - Illumination color: blue-green. Turquoise? - Media keys over keycaps - Less actuation force required (lighter keys) Cons: - Size: slightly less compact. The dimensions are slightly larger. The height of the keyboard is naturally high (without raising the legs) - The keys are flush against the board, making it look like a traditional membrane keyboard - The brown switch doesn't feel crisp. Vague. - Less dynamic lighting options (strobe (fade in/out), waterfall up and down. Tetris up/down) - Plastic case/board. But no kinks, so still pretty solid - a regular cable with no braid. The cable is non-removable and therefore one of the routing options. TREE (brown switch) **EDIT**: The cable is not actually detachable. Pros: - Size: slightly more compact compared to the size. - "Floating" buttons that allow the backlight to be reflected on the board. More like a mechanical keyboard - Less blurry brown switch.
