I bought this cute hiking set last year for my 7-year-old granddaughter and my 3-year-old grandson. I thought they might find it silly and childish but they loved it! A year has passed and she is still one of my favorite toys. They really use their imaginations to do this. One hides the plastic logs, the other looks for and collects firewood and builds a fire. They use a small lantern for nature walks around the house and yard. We all sit around the "campfire" and take turns baking a hot dog, making s'mores, and telling spooky stories. :-) Some people say that the parts don't fit neatly in the carrying case that comes with the kit. I certainly couldn't bring them together. But then I saw my granddaughter writing down every detail and closing tightly. Wonderful! Watch the attached video.
