I have two Krups coffee grinders. I use one for hot spices and one for sweet spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. This little grinder seems to work just as well for about half the price of a Krups. My old Capresso grinder broke recently so I used this to grind a whole bunch of beans and it did the job perfectly. Mind you, you still have to pick it up and shake it while it grinds like you do with all other brands of small coffee grinders like this one. Love the design of the lid compared to the Krups which is hard to put back on at times when you open it to see if you want a finer grind. This simply sits loosely at the top and is easier to put on and take off. Overall this is a good coffee grinder for the price. Let's see how long he lasts. My Krups grinders have been around for a very, very long time.
