Excellent noise canceling headset for the price

If you are looking for a great Bluetooth ANC headset that is comfortable and pairs great sound with your mobile device then this is a 5- star product. If you're looking for a great work-from-home solution for a noisy family, they will work, but they're not as reliable as when paired with a mobile device.1. No bluetooth switching, you can only connect it to one device at a time so there is no easy switching from phone to computer etc. You have to forget the device and add it again which is annoying. 2. It took a little while to get this working on a windows business laptop, but it worked in the end. I'm not sure if it's Windows or the headset. May alienate less-technical users.3. Audio quality for conference calls or voice calls is decent, about the same quality as when using a cell phone. Gaming headsets have better chat sound than this one.4. There's no mute button on the headset, basically you have to pay attention to Skype or commands to make sure you're not broadcasting to the whole world. The benefit of this headset is that the sound quality is excellent when paired with a phone and the Razer Opus app. Many complain about the inability to adjust the equalizer, I understand some of us are audiophiles, but for the average user I don't think this will be a problem. I listen to all types of music from heavy bass to vocals and I'm VERY happy with how it sounds. The build and feel is really good, it doesn't feel like a flashy gaming headset and the dark blue color is very unique. This headset was packaged well and looks better than a comparable Bose headset. The active noise cancellation is one of the best I've used, bringing the Bose Quiet Comfort 35 and Airpods Pro to school. You can hold down the ANC button to enhance the conversation around you and talk to someone, but you have to hold it down, which is a bummer. Detaching the headset will pause the audio, which is a great feature but not revolutionary. To give this 5 stars I want to be able to pair to multiple devices on the fly and have additional options in the app to control ANC, EQ etc.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Minor issues
