Review on Astro Pneumatic Tool 7856 Air Powered Universal Cooling System Pressure Tester by Kyle Herrera

I bought this as an alternative to the Snap On version which gross $281 and I'm glad I did, it's the same tool. Part of our preventive workplace inspection involves pressurizing the cooling system on Class 8 trucks and using a hand pump to pressurize these large systems is time consuming and tiring. This allows them to be pressed down in seconds and you can adjust the pressure you want to press them with. The pressure release button at the end of the hose is a handy feature as it allows you to release the pressure slowly so the coolant doesn't squirt everywhere. This tool will save you money, time and hassle when testing any size cooling system. I wish it had come with a case and an adapter to attach to the tanks but that didn't happen so I bought a GM adapter (Astro 7858541) which had the fitting needed for a quick connection and a swivel adapter used padlock from my old handheld tester.
