I have a 5 pound chihuahua and she is adventurous although due to her size she cannot walk long distances. Well, I bought this last week, the weight distribution is fairly even, it's comfortable on the shoulder and overall it's a great product for the price. My only complaint is that the inner leash, which is designed to attach to the dog's collar, is on the opposite side, which I think would be more comfortable for the dog. My dog tends to want to stick his head out on the right and leash on the left, causing him to get a little annoyed at his mobility and lack thereof. This can easily be remedied with a line extender so not a big deal but that's why I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5.
