Lace is hard to separate

As much as I like the lace carpet, the grooves are too deep. I understand that some can have success with this, but not me. I double layered the sugar veil and quickly popped it in the oven. That way I was able to get some decent pieces for the wedding cake. It was difficult to shoot without snapping and had to be done very slowly.
