I am trying to convert my house to LED when my budget allows. To me, it makes sense to replace incandescent bulbs that are higher wattage, harder to reach, and/or turn on most often. At the same time, I had 3 200w bulbs in my garage that met my criteria. Corn lights are new to me, they sure are weird little guys. These LED Corn Bulbs are 35W, 3500LM, 6500K, Cool White Color. Wow, they are always bright. I like the bright white light they give off. Great for the workshop. They appear to be a lot brighter than the 200 watt bulbs they replaced. Rated at 35,000 hours, we've yet to find out; it is about 24 years old. The break-even point for these lamps is 8 months and 25 days. The only reason this lamp gets 4 stars is the expected lifespan. I'm skeptical, but if they last even a year, I'm ahead. I will update this review if these bulbs fail after a relatively short period of time. <18 months______________________________ My work: Replacement of 3-200w bulbs for $4.49 each, lifespan of 800 hours, 3780 lumens/pc.
