Works well but iPad Pro models need to be careful

This is a quality metal product. It works well and is probably better than any other plastic-based competitor. However, there are some important caveats/considerations. I have a full-size iPad Pro. It is designed for iPad or iPad Pro (not for iPhone). The attachment area is not deep enough to fit the iPad into the case. There is padding in the mounting area to grip the iPad, but it's not very grippy. It may work well on smaller iPad models but is less secure on the largest iPad Pro models. Please note that for the largest iPad Pro models, it only fits in the narrow size (it's too short for the long size). The attachment point should only be gripped when holding the iPad in landscape orientation (bottom and top of iPad when oriented vertically). The iPad may slip out (when the gripping point is along the iPad's vertical alignment areas). Most importantly, the attachment area that holds the iPad isn't very long (compared to the long sides of the iPad Pro). It holds the iPad in an upright position fairly well in most situations, but it's not very solid. I would use it with an iPad Pro with caution (maybe put a big rubber band around the iPad and mount for extra security). I would never use it with a forward-leaning iPad Pro (unless I'm using two mounts at once with rubber bands around the device). While the suggestion of using large rubber bands may not seem convincing, I think it's solid and works well in many situations. This is perhaps the best product of its kind at the moment. However, it occupies a very limited length on the sides of the iPad Pro. It's not completely secure on the largest iPad Pro models (and iPad Pros are very expensive and fragile).

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
