Review on πŸŽ’ LOCALLION Ultralight Rucksack Backpack: A Perfect Daypack Choice by Nicole Porter

Great backpack, wish they had added pole mounts.

Great backpack, wish they had added attachments for carrying trekking poles. I bought this as my first backpack was getting too small very quickly when I was packing spikes, trekking poles etc in my bag. The zipper that makes it bigger is almost useless and it has no trekking pole attachments although I did able to use velcro and get it working. The size is pretty good for a day trip. I added my own whistle, although it came with one of these I didn't think it was fantastic but certainly better than nothing. The back wasn't what I expected, it was really stiff and I didn't like it for the first hour but then I got used to it and everything is fine. I'm pretty sure they designed it that way to prevent so much sweating. It probably helps. The padding on the sides isn't as great as my first one, but I felt it was enough. One of the main reasons I chose this bag was that it had two side mesh holders for my water bottle and suede. Many other backpacks only allow you to use the hydration bladder, which I don't like. This one lets you use the bubble, I just don't use that feature. Overall I think this is a very good backpack and I would give it five stars if it had pole attachments and if the zip extension allowed for more expansion and it was waterproof. At the bottom there is a small pocket for a backpack rain cover. I love that it comes built in and comes with a rain cover, but I don't like that the backpack itself isn't waterproof, it does rain heavily and definitely gets wet.
