I really like this laptop stand - or at least I wanted to. The stand is nice, stable and looks great on my desk. However, after assembling the stand, I placed my HP Envy 17.3t on it and found that the laptop sits higher/above the ledge on the stand, so the laptop is not stable in place and the ledge does not scratch my device protects or slipped. To be honest, the bottom of my device isn't flat at the front, which caused problems with the stand overhang. I could leave the stand flat so it and my device don't stand crooked, but my device still isn't held securely or prevented from sliding - even with the rubber feet, so I don't dare risk it, especially when I Rotate the stand. If the protrusion was higher this stand/stand would be perfect for my device. HP Envy owners should just be aware that their laptop is not secure. use you
