Review on D O T DAYTONA CRUISER DULL BLACK by Alex Prince

I looked through probably 5 different "flat" 3/4 helmets and they all made me look like Great Gaza from the Jetsons. There are many "new" non-DOT approved helmets that riders wear to circumvent various helmet laws, but they offer no protection and are not fit for purpose. The Dayona Cruiser is a REAL low profile helmet that solves the legal protection issue and looks like a bobble head. The quick release chin strap is ideal for use with gloves. The finish is nice and the liner is comfortable. I bought the gloss black (pictured after a ride in a rainstorm) and my mate has a sunburst/root beer color which looks great! Highly recommended for those who want retro style but don't want to look like an orange on a toothpick.
