Review on Portable Camping Chair: Compact Steel Frame Folding Director's Chair with Side Table - Supports up to 225 lbs by John Holliday

Difficult to fold and not enough room to sit

Folding was very difficult. I've done this several times and each time it was difficult. My other problem is that the chair doesn't have enough seating space. The measurement includes fabric that extends beyond the actual surface of the seat base, so the depth given is misleading. There is also too much vertical clearance under the back of the chair. So you're hanging around in the back and the front of the seat doesn't go far enough under your feet. I really wanted to like this chair as the price was great. I was embarrassed to return it, but it was uncomfortable to sit in, and I would hate to fold it every time my elderly mom went to the park or yard (plus, I would worry that she would get through a hole in the wall slips). . return). The chair feels fairly solid and well made overall. So if the backrest was lower and the seat a little deeper to cover more of your legs and the chair could be folded more easily, it would be a great chair. I paid $35 for a chair and it was a great value. I see that some people have no problem with folding the chair, so for most it is not a problem.
