You have to wait for the lightbulb to turn on. If so, it's not really a 3 watt bulb.

When the light is on, can you barely tell the difference between the first lowest setting and the highest? Maybe it's a lightbulb, but the three-way function isn't really worth it. Also, there are fluctuations when the lamp is turned on.? Patience means extra time, extra time doesn't add up to my day and lowers my productivity and slows down my overall progress. I'm trying to remove anything that's slowing things down, and while it seems minor, having to wait for the lights to come on when I turn on the lamp is a little frustrating.
