Bought to replace a 1990's Kenmore canister vacuum that I had for years (it eventually died). New vacuum. It's heavier and just as loud as the one it replaced. All you need for the bottom is a GIANT PITB that needs to be removed and then reattached to the power head. The floor mount is very thick and fits under almost nothing. The motorized nozzle is very difficult to push onto the carpet unless set to "high". In this case, you're never sure if she really cleans or not. The rotation also makes vacuuming harder than it should be. Overall I am NOT satisfied with this vacuum cleaner. If I had gone to the store and actually tried this vacuum cleaner before buying it, I never would have done it.
