Excellent and practical product. We used the internal staircase leading from the main house to the son-in-law's apartment. Our steps are much smaller than today because our house is so old. Anyone with a foot larger than a size 5 will feel their foot slide off the front of the step. You had to put your foot sideways or at an angle to stand firmly on your feet. These strips have excellent grip and have made the stairs much safer. We can now descend stairs normally because the back of the foot can stick more firmly to the stairs. We were concerned that the stripes would be too rough or look too "rough", but they aren't. They look good and not what they should be like from the outside. Luminous strips are a nice addition to mark the edges of the stairs when the lights are off. VAST improvement for us. The strips are easy to install thanks to the sticky backing. You just need to measure placement to make them look the same.
