It took me three pairs of different sizes to get the right one. Finished size is 1/2 smaller than what I usually order in closed toe shoes. The sock is roomy but the laces allow me to pull it down to fit. Not to mention arch support but comfortable. Yesterday was my first day wearing them outside. I walked the dogs, sidewalks, lawns, gravel. The sole has accumulated a lot of dirt, and the grooves on the soles are narrow, almost slit-like, and difficult to scrape out. This will bring dirt into your home. I'm just soaking them to loosen the dirt. If you've taken the time to walk, this may not work for you.
