Review on McKlein Avon Laptop Briefcase by Victor Ewing

I was looking for something professional, but unique and above all functional. It had to fit my 15" MacBook, some files/documents and have easy (external) access to my phone, keys and wallet. A famous speaker/blogger talked about her McKlein bag, so I carefully compared different models. I'm surprised more people haven't chosen Avon. The outer pocket is more accessible (deeper) than other models. The laptop is easy to get in and out of, as the zippers reach to the bottom of the bag instead of just opening up at the top. I love that it has a padded laptop sleeve as well as a tablet sleeve and organizers that can hold a cell phone (even larger models) or a wallet, pens, and business cards. Others complain about the weight, but it weighs no more than any other leather laptop bag. The red isn't exactly burgundy or maroon, but it's a lovely deep red that looks professional yet stands out in a sea of black. The only option I'm missing is a longer, detachable strap that could be worn over the shoulder when traveling (like Lake Forest). Otherwise it's a great bag and I'm ordering a second color! (PS - having used it I would also say it would be nice to have a tab that snaps through a computer slot like a tablet or attaches with Velcro. That would make it almost perfect.)
