Oh my god! Hand winding the bobbin has revolutionized my stretch sewing. I can use twin needles on the hem of spandex fabrics and it looks like store bought. Using regular bobbin thread for this type of fabric gives terrible results. I'm so glad someone on Pinterest provided a tutorial on how to use wool nylon thread.
