Bought this bed for our 16 year old gouty Chocolate Labrador. It only weighs 52 pounds. I recently bought a replacement case because the other one was damaged by one of my other animals. Long story short, I got a replacement and noticed that there was velcro on one end instead of a sleeve for the bed rails. I was initially excited as it would make putting the cap on and off easier. I was wrong. The velcro is not strong enough to support the weight of a dog, especially mine who likes to throw up on the bed. I'm very upset about this as the description doesn't say anything about the velcro side. I'm really tired of having to put the side piece back on every time I get off. My lab loves this bed, but unless the replacement covers are exactly the same as the original covers that came with the bed, I will have to find a new one for our older dog.
