We have a window in our fence so she can see what's going on in the neighborhood and the crib is positioned so she can lie on it and still look out the window. It's not damaged or anything. Bought this bed for our 16 year old gouty Chocolate Labrador. It only weighs 52 pounds. I recently bought a replacement case because the other one was damaged by one of my other animals. Long story short, I got a replacement and noticed that there was velcro on one end instead of a sleeve for the bed rails. I was initially excited as it would make putting the cap on and off easier. We bought the Space Topper to replace our dog bed because it was so inexpensive and easy to disassemble and clean.
