and liked it. I ordered a 2008 Yukon kit.

If you have a GM truck with Autoride suspension with 100,000 miles on the odometer and regularly tow a trailer, you will soon need to replace the rear shock absorbers. I have replaced three different kits on three different GM SUVs. For the first two kits I used AC Delco parts. AC Delco's shock price is equivalent to a small country! After reading some owners forums these shocks have been mentioned in a ton and they absolutely love them. I ordered a 2008 Yukon set and was surprised when they got to the front door. Yes, these shock absorbers are rebuilt, but all internal parts are discarded and the replacement parts are of better quality than the original parts. Let me stress that these are quality parts. Don't be afraid to order them to replace broken shock absorbers. Two warnings: if you install these shocks, run the truck afterwards and you'll get an ABS light and an operational stability light - you've broken two wiring harnesses right above the shocks! Believe me! Step back under the impact and run your hand along the frame beam at the top of the shocks and you'll find the straps. Next warning; If your stock shocks are leaking now and the compressor is running all the time, disconnect the compressor (on the driver's side, behind the rear wheel) or you will burn your compressor and have to buy another one! There's only one wiring harness on the supercharger and yes, you can still drive the truck when it's deactivated.

Pros
  • Sandblasted and painted to prevent rust
Cons
  • Fading
