Really enjoyed using these gloves, the padding and wrist support was fantastic for me. However, after just 5 workouts with the heavy bag, the outer coating began to rip, rip and tear, with the seams coming apart near the thumb and palm. To be honest I'm not sure if it was a general problem with the gloves or if I just got a pair from an old batch. Another reviewer commented that the rubber/vinyl surface looked rotten, as did mine. I bought one of the colors that was on sale thinking it was on sale because they discontinued the color or something. Now I think it's because they were stored too long and rotted. Therefore I would be careful with reduced colors and stick with the full price item. I didn't want to risk it though so I sent them back and got the RDX Maya Hide Leather Boxing Gloves Gel Sparring Glove Punching Bag Mitts Training Muay Thai F7 instead. They cost twice as much, but I was bribed by a leather covering. So far they're holding up well, although I think I like the padding on the ring gloves better. as long as the case lasts.
