I received today. I'm worried that the safety notice that usually sticks on the plug cord is already torn off. I saw some of his remains. The lamp was already in the melter instead of being included in a separate box. I believe this is a used device. Extremely dissatisfied and unsatisfied. I'll try anyway as the guests are coming soon. The wax takes a long time to melt. I use melted Yankee Candle wax like I did with previous melters with no problem. The melted wax forms a film on the top and the wax on the rims and corners of the square cup on the top hardens well. .In general, the inside of the melting bowl looks very uncomfortable, to put it as kindly as possible. One has to wonder if a 25 watt bulb is powerful enough. Other melters I've used are 40 watts.
