I have quite thick hair, but I always squeeze out as much water as possible before drying. Still, the hair pack doesn't help at all to dry my hair. Although it doesn't absorb very well, I still use this hair band to keep wet hair out of my face when I get out of the shower. The button you use to secure the wrap is still on after 50+ uses, but the threads are loosening. The best part is that it's super soft and fluffy even after multiple washes, so I know it's a lot better than using my old heavy body towel to dry my hair.
